Our Story
Some things never really go out of fashion. A well-cut coat. A handwritten note. Hair that looks quietly, effortlessly done. Silk and Hair grew out of a fondness for that last one - the kind of polish that doesn't announce itself, the sort of finish that makes people assume you were simply born with good hair.
We started with one small conviction: caring for your hair should feel less like a task on the list and more like a few minutes that belong to you. A warm mirror. A favourite robe. A tool that does its job beautifully and then gets out of your way. That's the whole idea, really - good hair should be part of a life that feels considered, never complicated.
Beautiful hair, without the damage
For a long time, "salon-smooth" came at a price: scorching plates, singed ends, that faint smell of heat you learn to ignore. We never loved that trade-off, so we built our collection around a gentler philosophy. Our styling tools - including our ionic Air Straightener - are designed to take hair from wet to soft, glossy and frizz-free without the harsh heat that leaves it brittle over the months and years.

We design for the woman with somewhere to be. The one juggling a school run and a meeting, a long day and a dinner after it. She doesn't have forty-five minutes to spend in front of the mirror, and she shouldn't have to.
